My wish is to become self supporting. I have a neurological and spinal condition (chiari I, and syringomyelia... cyst in spinal cord). I have 3 children and have always been able to support myself and enjoyed working. My condition has dibiltated my health, I have not worked since 2006 and bring in under $500 a month from child support. I have applied for ssdi, still trying and don't know if it will ever happen. My wish is to help myself and help others. If I could put it in specifics, I wish for a free year lease on the beach in Miami area, I wish for help getting my non-profit going, need money to support myself, hire help and get things rolling, need help from others with business/working. I want to help others like me, if you look up these conditions, find the blog pages and see how sad it is that so many people go from being fully functional, to loosing everything, money, family, friends and hope.
I wont be getting better anytime soon, but I'd like to make a living helping to research these conditions and help other people with these conditions and other silent disabilites. Is there anyone out there granting wishes? I could sure use some help, and with every part of my being that can I will someday make a difference in other peoples lives that are affected by disabling conditions. It is sad that there are not many options once you face dibilitating conditions and disabilites. Help me make a difference. With or without help, I will make a difference somehow somewhere.
